Testers Combo

The Combo tester is a checking device designed for testing protective grounding wristbands, wristband leads, and antistatic footwear utilised at antistatic workplaces in dedicated area according the EN 61 340-5-1 standard. The standard specifies daily check of the wristbands and footwear qualification. Resistance of applied wristbands is specified in the range of 7.5×105 Ohms to 3.5×107 Ohms by the standard. Resistance of their intake conductors equals 7.5×105 Ohms to 5×106 Ohms. Limits for applied footwear used like a basic protection equal 5×104 Ohms to 1×108 Ohms. If the footwear used like an additional protection, the resistance limits of applied footwear equal 5×104  to 1×108 . Particular inputs of the Combo tester are set to these limits. Measured values are indicated optically and acoustically. The device indicates correct value of the wristband resistance with the help of green pilot light and sounding hooter. Erroneous values including HIGH or LOW deviation direction determination are indicated by red pilot lights. Battery discharge is indicated by yellow pilot light. The device calibration is accomplished with the help of the “Calibre for Combo tester” or another appropriate instrument.
