About the company
MAAB-technology is a brand introduced onto the European market in 2002. It was launched onto the market by a Czech company called ABE.TEC, s.r.o., which was established in 1996. The impulse for commencement of in-house production stemmed from the particular requirements of customers from Czech and also European firms. What occurred was an alliance of the practical experience of Czech specialists, the knowledge particularly of German experts and the ideas of the ABE.TEC company managers.
The first product was a unique formulation, which came into being in the mind of a technical specialist – a soldering wave expert. Together with other engineers, he speculated how to decrease losses due to oxides in a soldering alloy for soldering machines. This resulted in a deoxidizing additive called DEOX for short, which saves more than 70 % of the oxidized alloy. The author’s invention is patent protected. DEOX is now supplied to several countries in the European Union.
Other products from the field of antistatic protection followed. Technical specialists gradually developed and continue to improve testers of ESD wristbands and footwear, including gauges for the testers. Sale of grounding boxes and plugs has begun successfully. The offer comprises antistatic clothing of various designs and combinations.
Great progress was registered in the development and production of power supplies for electric torque screwdrivers by HIOS and Atlas Copco. Seven types of power supplies have already designed since commencement of MaaB Technology production, the last type of which is resolved as a universal type with the possibility of connecting several screwdrivers.
In 2008, two universal dispensers for fast, easy and exact dosing of liquids and pastes were launched on the market. The first of them is a simple type with all the essential features; the other is a fully programmable type.
The latest product is a system for testing cables (tester for cables and cable harnesses), which will be launched onto the market in 2009. It is designed for automatic checking of connecting cables, cycling tests, and self-learning features. The cable tester will be presented at the AMPER Prague exhibition, which will be taking place from 31 March until 3 April, 2009.
